What’s in the air?

The most important thing that air science tells us is that the air is full of viruses, bacteria and harmful particles.

These microscopic creatures are everywhere, and they can cause serious illnesses if they're inhaled. That's why it's so important to keep your home clean and free of pollutants. Air purifiers use circulation of air, HEPA filters and built-in mechanisms to remove these contaminants from the air, making it safer for you and your family to breathe.
So whether you suffer from allergies, have a family or you’re an office worker, or just someone who wants to breathe clean air, understanding air science will lead you to better living and a clean lifestyle!

The truth about indoor air quality

Did you know that the air inside your home is probably more polluted than the air outside? It's true!

Every time you cook, clean, or even just move around your house, you release tiny particles of dust, bacteria, and even viruses into the air. Over time, these particles can build up and cause a lot of problems for your respiratory system.

What is a HEPA filter & why are they effective?

HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air which is a standard for air filtration. From a particle level the filter captures particles down to 0.3 microns, equating to 99.97% dust, mould, pollen, bacteria and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).HEPA filters are made up of finely pleated fabric sheets, interwoven with fibreglass fibres. Each Air Purifier unit will circulate air, pushing it through these filters to ensure that the tiniest of air borne particles are absorbed.

Pathogens

Germs from a sneeze can reach up to 3 feet, and keep spreading after.

VOCs

Even if there’s no significant odour, carpets, cosmetic goods and even vinyl wood floors can give off VOCs that irritate.

Allergens

Besides dust, many hair sprays or cleaning products can be allergens, and linger in the air for hours after use.

Odours

Tobacco residue clings to walls, floors and even skin for weeks, causing bad odour and posing a health risk.
